Nowadays, reports of unhygienic food have become commonplace, with customers frequently encountering bad food in orders or at restaurants. In a recent viral incident, a customer discovered fungus in aloo patties from a bakery. The incident reportedly occurred in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and was shared on X.
The customer shows the patties to the staff at the bakery. The filling of these patties was completely covered with fungus. The customer received 5-6 patties, and upon checking, found them to be contaminated. He returned to the bakery and recorded the incident on camera. He opened all the patties and showed them to the staff. The bakery staff offered to replace the patties with fresh ones, but the customer declined and instead called an officer from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to the bakery.
The name of the restaurant is Annapurna Sweet House and Bakers, and the customer also inquired about the process for filing a complaint against it.
In the images, the customer told the official that, fortunately, he checked the patties before eating them and mentioned that if he hadn’t checked, he might have consumed contaminated food. “One of the patties had saliva in it,” the customer added.
Well this is not the first time a few months ago a customer found a dead lizard in bhatura. Many incidents were reported where people get cockroaches in the train's food.
