The 26-year-old "investor" boasts an annual income of ₹29 lakh and claims that his wealth increases by 54% every year. The advertisement, which went viral on X, has sparked a debate online.
The man describes himself as "intellectual, handsome, and smart" and shares details about his income, saying “Investor (Indian stock market), earning 29 LPA (actual, present). Income and net worth "compoundingly” increasing every year by 54% (self-discovered, self-taught work)."
The advertisement turns even more stranger when the investor promises to share a 16-slide PowerPoint presentation detailing his investing strategy via WhatsApp. The presentation explains how his unique approach to "safe investing" has made him financially independent.
The ad reads, "Investing is own work (Safe Business ). A PowerPoint presentation (16 slides), created by the boy, explaining how Safe Investing makes him Financially Independent, will be sent by reply to WhatsApp message."
Former JP Morgan Executive Director Samit Singh shared the ad on X, where it garnered a flurry of comments.
A user wrote, "Interesting! Compounding net worth at 54% he’ll be the richest man in the world in no time." Another wrote, "54% Compounding this guy will beat Buffett soon!"
Other users poked fun at the ad's peculiar details, such as the man's height being listed as "5'11.25", accurate to two decimal places.
One user pointed out, "Girl should be a short seller so that they can build an all-weather household!"
Another observed, "ahi mein ppt wala hai. Guy is trying to get double benefits from the advert. Shadi bhi ho jayega aur ppt bhi chal jayega" (This guy has a PowerPoint presentation. He's trying to get double benefits from the ad marriage and promoting his presentation).
The ad's claims have sparked curiosity, but many remain skeptical about the authenticity it.
