Tourists Drive Like It's GT Road, Cause Road Rage, Claims Manali Woman in Viral Video
A woman in a viral video criticizes tourists from Delhi-NCR, Punjab, and Haryana for rash driving, polluting, and killing animals while vacationing in valley.
A video has emerged on the internet in which a woman can be seen criticising the tourists from Delhi, Haryana , and Punjab and accusing them for mistreating the locals, rash driving, killing animals while they come for vacation in the valley.
The woman didn’t identify herself but in her interview to a local news channel in Chandigarh she said, “I am sorry to say but Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Haryana people are very annoying. They cause a lot of pollution. The way they drive is very rash. If you say anything to them, they turn to road rage.”
The time and date of the interview is not clarified in the video, but in her interview she said, “we face kind of disappointment from there side, as they should be a little more responsible in all these things.

She said that, “people coming from other places don’t know how to drive on the mountain roads as driving here is different. I, myself, drive on these roads but safely as the roads in the hills are treacherous even for locals. They do not know how to manoeuvre their cars in the hills and drive on the bends. Apna GT road samjh ke uda ke lekey jaatey hain.”
The unknown lady also accused the tourists of killing their pet animals and said that, “our animals always stay out and we often find them dead on the sides of the roads because of their rash driving.”
She added that the highway to Manali has 10-12 tunnels and the motorcycle riders have extra loud exhaust and create a ruckus with it. She said, “I understand that you are here to relax and have fun during your vacations but there has to be a sense of responsibility towards the locals and their culture.”

One of the users said, “I totally agree with every word she’s saying. There’s not a single thing I’d disagree with. If you don’t want to respect the culture of Himachal, the least you can do is respect the Mountains!”
Another one said,"Well said We as an Indian should learn how to behave in public, how to keep our places clean and hygienic. But we rather chose opposite of all these and whn some1 raise such pointers, they get offend and start showing their upbringing. Abroad jake pta nhi kaise sudher jate hain."
“Himachalis don't have problem with people of Haryana ,Dehli or Punjab but surely they have problems with the acts they do in Himachal.,” one commect read.
A fourth user said, “She is talking about the college students who come there on weekends to drink and party. Families who come from Punjab and Haryana are decent of course.”
