Bengaluru, the silicon valley of India, is one of the most expensive cities of India, and there is no doubt in it. People often post the high prices of hotels, cab prices, rents, and many other things on social media, which makes it evident that the city is actually expensive. And in a recent turn of events, a woman has posted that her monthly cab bill has exceeded half her monthly rent. She mentioned that the features of CRED help her know how much she has spent on the cab.
The post was shared by Vanshita, who goes by the username "@yourswriterly," and said, “I can’t believe my Uber expenses are more than half the amount I pay as rent in Bangalore for me this got to be the most useful feature by cred till date!”
And with this, she shared a screenshot of her Cred account, in which the total amount was Rs 16,668.11 with 74 trips from July 1st to 25.
The post was shared a day ago and has garnered more than 1.84 lakh views on it with 1,100 likes. And people in the comments shared their thoughts. One of the users wrote, “At this point maybe it's better if you buy yourself a vehicle. Even monthly EMIs would be far lesser.”
Another one said, “You deserve a loyalty card from Uber.”
“Now I know why everyone says walking is good for health,” wrote a third user.
A fourth user said, “This cred feature is good but I don't have guts to check my expenses.”
“My god, how do you manage to look at this number. I would think twice before even ordering a cab from Ola/Uber.
I get a Rapido bike taxi on a daily basis for both ways commute. I don’t have the heart to look at the credit card statement to check the cost,” said a fifth one.
