Viral Video: Woman Sarpanch's Fluent English Speech Leaves IAS Tina Dabi Awestruck at Rajasthan

IAS Tina Dabi, who often stays in the headlines for her administrative works and also for her personal life, can be seen as part of a viral video in which she was not the main character. Dabi was the topper of the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) 2015 exam and is popular for her administrative work in the different districts of Rajasthan .

In an now-trending viral video, IAS Tina Dabi was attending a function in which she was a guest. She can be seen amazed after hearing the welcome speech of a woman, Sarpanch, who can be seen wearing a Rajputi dress and welcoming the guest. The interesting thing about this video was that the woman Sarpanch addressed the guest with a fluent English speech, which left Tina Dabi awestruck.

On the podium, Sonu Kanwar, the woman Sarpanch, started speaking in English; everyone, including IAS Tina Dabi, can be seen clapping and encouraging. Her approach and command over the foreign language amazed everyone on the stage. She said, “I am glad to be part of this day. First of all, I welcome our collector, Tina ma'am.”

“It's an honour for me to welcome Tina ma’am, and today we are gather to talk about water,” she added later.

As she ended her speech, people started clapping. The video has gone viral since it was posted. According to the video, the video was recorded when Jalipa Sarpanch Sonu Kanwar was giving a speech in Rajasthan ’s Barmer. IAS Tina Dabi was recently posted in Barmer as Collector; before that, she was the Collector of Jaisalmer.
