Viral News: ‘Earth will end on this date..’ We often heard predictions about Earth facing destruction on various dates, but recently, NASA reported that asteroid 2024 RN16 would make a close approach to Earth on September 14, 2024. 

If this asteroid, measuring 110 feet across, had collided with our planet, it would have been highly destructive. It would have exploded about 29 kilometers above the ground, releasing energy equivalent to 16 megatons of TNT, creating a significant shockwave but not impacting the surface directly.

Fortunately, asteroid 2024 RN16 safely passed by Earth without causing any harm. However, netizens  shared their ‘dukh’  after the asteroid didn't hit the earth . Many expressed their disappointment on social media platforms like Instagram, X, and Reddit. In response, some users humorously complained that they now had to go back to their jobs, attend college, or do household work.
