Recently, Google disclosed how much it spends on CEO Sundar Pichai’s security.

According to Alphabet's 2025 proxy statement, Sundar Pichai receives security arrangements as employment benefits, including residential security, monitoring, transportation services, and personal security. 

Sundar Pichai is the Chief Executive Officer of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google. He has a cumulative net worth of Rs 93 crores (approximately 110 USD).   

Google paid Rs 69 crores ($8.27 million ) to CEO Sundar Pichai, an increase of nearly 22% from Rs 57 crores ($6.78 million) in 2023, per the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission report.  

CEO Sundar Pichai's extensive travels in 2024, meeting world leaders on technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, are a reason for the increase in security costs.  

Google generated a higher revenue in the first quarter of 2025 as it is positioned as the centre of the AI arms race and is threatened by AI competition and mounting regulation. 

Pichai's total compensation during fiscal year 2024 was $10.73 million, an increase of $8.8 million from the previous year.   

Kent Walker, Alphabet's legal chief, earned $30.2 million in total compensation this year, up from $27.3 million last year. Alphabet's new chief also received $50 million in compensation, including a $10 million bonus. 

Google spent a total average compensation on full-term employees of $331,894, a 5% increase from the previous year's average of $315,531.
