Shaktikanta Das: From RBI Governor To Principal Secretary-2 To PM Modi

Before being appointed as one of the Principal Secretaries in the PMO Office, he served as the RBI Governor 

He assumed office as RBI Governor on December 11, 2018, a position he held for nearly six years

His bureaucratic career spans over four decades, during which he has held key positions, including Secretary of Economic Affairs, Revenue, and Fertilizers 

In 2017, he was appointed as India’s G20 Sherpa 

In his new role, Shaktikanta Das will work closely with Prime Minister Modi and P.K. Mishra
