T M Narasimhan to lead Motorola’s Mobile Business

Motorola has named T M Narasimhan as the Managing Director of its Mobile Business Group in India, as the brand improves its position in the Indian smartphone market.

In an official statement, Motorola highlighted its ambition to secure a spot among the top three smartphone brands in India with this appointment.

Narasimhan will be responsible for steering Motorola's business operations in India and will report directly to Prashanth Mani, who retains his role as the head of Motorola's Asia Pacific division.

Last year, Motorola also shared its plans to ramp up investments and increase its marketing strategies in India over the next one to three years.
