And it's out! PhonePe launched a new feature named UPI circle globally on April 15, 2025, making it accessible to Android and iOS users. The circle allows innovative UPI payments with groups to be safer and more convenient.

What Is UPI Circle?

UPI Circle enables users to create small groups with whom one regularly shares money. This minimises the risk of incorrect money transactions and provides a more personal UPI experience that can be done quicker and safer.

Step 1: Click on ‘Create UPI Circle’.

Step 2: Add members from your contact list

Add contacts from your close circle to create a group for seamless transactions. The secondary users will utilize the primary user's account for digital payments.

Step 3: Ask for money in one click within the circle.

The feature simplifies money transactions and enables individuals without digital accounts to conduct digital transactions. The interface is user-friendly and easily accessible.
