Minu Muneer, levelled sexual abuse allegations against prominent actors M Mukesh, Jayasurya and Maniyanpilla Raju, as well as small-time actor Idavela Babu.

However, Mukesh has denied the allegations and issued a press release asserting his innocence. He alleged that Muneer had previously sought financial assistance and attempted to blackmail him.
