After several appearances on television, Rajpal Yadav made his debut in films in 1999. Since then, the actor has achieved a special appreciation for his comedy timing and often appears in comic roles.

The 54-year-old actor recently grabbed headlines after he was taken into custody in a cheque-bouncing case. 

There are reports of the actor being under ₹9 crore debt, following which the industry insiders have stepped in to extend him financial support. 

As per several media reports, Rajpal Yadav, best known for his role as Chhote Pandit in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, charges ₹1-2 crore for one movie, as per the latest data. 

Reports suggest that the actor boasts a net worth between ₹50 crore-₹85 crore. Apart from his film appearances, brand associations contribute to Rajpal Yadav's income. 

A few publications have reported that the actor charges around ₹1 crore for each brand endorsement. However, there is no confirmation for the same. 

Rajpal Yadav is said to be leading a comfortable life in Mumbai along with his wife and two daughters. 

He is believed to own a BMW car worth ₹80 Lakh and an Audi A8 priced at around ₹1.37 crore. 

Unverified reports also claim that apart from his residential property in Mumbai, Rajpal Yadav also owns an ancestral home in Uttar Pradesh and some agricultural land. 

Now, with him in jail, members of the film industry are stepping in to help him deal with his money troubles and legal issues. His manager has shared that they will be appealing for his bail soon.
