Sushmita Sen Shares Her Thoughts On Marriage After Breakup With Rohmann Shawl: Aise Thodi Hoti Hai Shaadi...

Sushmita Sen recently held an Instagram live chat with her fans wherein she shared her candid opinions on marriage. 

The actress has always been vocal about being independent and clarified that marriage is not on the cards for her. 

She, however, stressed that she does want to get married but will take the leap only when she finds the right partner. 

The actress' comments come months after her breakup with Rohmann Shawl, with whom she continues to have a cordial relationship. 

Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl dated for three years before calling it quits in 2021. 

In her Instagram live session, the actress shared, “I want to get married as well. Milna chahiye na koi shaadi karne layek. (There should be someone worthy of marriage, right?)."

She added, “Aise thodi hoti hai shaadi. Kehte hai na, bohot romantic way mein toh dil ka rishta hota hai. (Marriage doesn’t just happen like that. In a very romantic way, it’s a bond of the heart.)”

The former Miss Universe concluded by saying, "Dil tak baat toh pahunchni chahiye na. Shaadi bhi kar lenge. (The feeling should reach the heart, right? Then I’ll get married too.)."

The 49-year-old actress is a mother of two two adopted daughters - Renee and Alisah. 

On the work front, Sushmita was last seen in the 2023 web series, Taali, in which she played the role of Gauri Sawant.
