In 2019, Tahira bravely faced a diagnosis of “stage 0” breast cancer, undergoing a mastectomy procedure and triumphing over the disease.

Kiron Kher battled cancer in 2021 and was working throughout the recovery process.

Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in August 2020. He took treatment in Mumbai and months later, he announced that he was cancer-free.

In 2018, Sonali Bendre announced that she had been diagnosed with metastatic cancer and was undergoing treatment in a New York City hospital. In 2021, the actress announced that she is cancer-free.
