Easy Kitchen Tricks To Keep Lemons Juicier For Long


Lemons dry out quickly in summer, but a few simple storage tricks may help keep them fresh longer.

Store lemons in the refrigerator instead of leaving them outside in kitchen heat.

Keep lemons in an airtight container or zip bag to help lock in moisture.

Avoid cutting lemons unless needed, as sliced lemons lose juice faster. Instead of leaving them open on a plate, wrap them tightly or place them face-down in a small airtight container.

Soak slightly dry lemons in cold water for a few hours before using them. The water prevents the lemons from drying out and helps them stay soft for weeks.
