Ensure safety by keeping bonfires at a safe distance from flammable objects and avoiding overcrowded areas to prevent accidents. 

Show respect and reverence for the traditions and customs associated with Holika Dahan, avoiding any behavior that disrespects or mocks the rituals.

Maintain the sanctity of Holika Dahan by limiting or avoiding consumption of intoxicants and excessive alcohol.

Refrain from burning plastic and toxic materials during Holika Dahan to prevent releasing harmful fumes and polluting the environment.
