Tomatoes to Eggs: Food items rich in Vitamin A

Vitamin A is present in many dairy products. If you have high cholesterol, it's usually preferable to choose fat-free or low-fat dairy products because these can also be high in saturated fat.

Fruits that are orange or yellow are rich in beta-carotene, which is an antioxidant and a building block for vitamin A. Mangos and cantaloupe in particular are excellent sources of vitamin A.

Vitamin A content is also high in many fatty fish, such as mackerel, salmon, and herring. Cod fish oil has a high vitamin A content as well.
