Is Ishan Kishan Injured? Concern Erupts After India Batter Clutches Knee In Pain After Diving Attempt

Ishan Kishan was the standout performer for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2025 season opener clash. 

The Indian wicketkeeper-batter secured a 45-ball-century in his maiden appearance for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kishan's masterclass made things difficult for the opposition as SRH reached 286 at the loss of six wickets in the game.

However, during the play, Ishan suffered a huge injury scare during the second innings of the match-up.

Ishan Kishan was seen wincing in pain after an awkward diving attempt near the boundary line. 

He was promptly checked up by SRH's medical staff around the boundary ropes and did not return for the remainder of the match.

In case Ishan was ruled out, it would have been a huge problem for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, as he would be a part of their integral batting force.

But after the Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match, Kishan was seen walking properly and did not have any limp.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a 44-run over the Rajasthan Royals and the hosts begin their IPL 2025 campaign with a win. 

SRH will face off against the Lucknow Super Giants next at home on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
