Sanchez on Belarus plane diversion, EU-Morocco ties

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Monday condemned Belarus after it forcibly grounded a Lithuania-bound flight in Minsk and arrested an opposition journalist who was onboard.

"It is important to condemn these events and to demand the regime free all passengers," he insisted as arrived at a European Council summit in Brussels.

Sanchez also suggested he would discuss migration and the EU's relationship with Morocco with his counterparts.
