Clayton and Carrie Law had got cash to pay the contractor. However, they soon saw their 7-year-old dog snacking on cash.

Pennsylvania: A dog's hunger turned into a mere heart attack for its owner after the pet chewed up almost $ 4,000 (Rs 3.32 lakhs) in cash.
The incident occurred in Pennsylvania, when a 7-year-old Goldendoodle, Cecil, snacked on the envelope of cash its owners kept set aside to pay money to a contractor in cash for some personal job.
30 minutes later, the couple found their cute little Cecil enjoying snacking on the cash.
Owners, Clayton, and Carrie Law said they had retrieved most of the money from the chewed-up lot but still $450 (Rs 44,909) is missing. The couple had to dig through the dog's vomit to retrieve the cash.
As per media reports. owners said they even took the dog to a veterinarian and were told that the dog was fine.
Carrie said, "Suddenly Clayton yelled to me, 'Cecil's eating $4,000!'. I thought, 'I cannot be hearing that'. I almost had a heart attack."
The owner added that Cecil is generally a well-behaved dog, however, this act gave them a rude shock.
The couple later approached the bank to change notes as the serial numbers were still visible and the bank said that it would take back the money.
Carrie added, "Cecil's a goofy guy and he's very particular - you could leave a steak on the table, and he wouldn't touch it because he's not food motivated. But apparently, he is money-motivated."
