''It has been 10 years since the IGN started and they felt that it was about time when they went to the next step of text-based negotiations. They said that they should work together with other member states to realize the shared vision of the overwhelming majority supporting the initiation of text-based negotiations in a democratic and transparent manner'' Patnaik said

Patnaik further added that the leaders too felt the necessity to intensify the dialogue with other member countries, especially the African group, and agreed to express support for reflecting the African common positions as contained in the Ezulwini Consensus and Sirte Declaration in all text based negotiations.

The minister further reiterated their support for Africa's representation in both the permanent and the non-permanent membership of a reformed and expanded security council, Patnaik added.
