In the wake of the mega ‘Howdy Modi’ event that celebrates the Indian-American community and their contributions, many people in India, including politicians across the country are awaiting the event eagerly. The Minister of State for Minority Affairs, India and MP from the State of Arunachal Pradesh Kiren Rijiju took to social media to address his eagerness in viewing the mega event. He said it’s the coming together of two most followed leaders of the world.

Indian politicians join in on the 'Howdy Modi' celebrations
A number of Indian politicians tweeted about ‘Howdy Modi’. BJP supremo and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also urged people to join the celebrations.

Smriti Z Irani on 'Howdy Modi'
Another BJP leader and MP from Amethi Smriti Z Irani tweeted about the event, she even changed the profile picture on her social media handle with a picture of the ‘Howdy, Modi!’ event. Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar called this event 'unmissable' on their Twitter feeds and expressed their eagerness to watch the event.

The 'Hody Modi' event
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to meet President Donald Trump and address the crowd at the 'Howdy Modi' event. The event is being termed as a celebration of the Indian-American community and will have more than 50,000 people across the United States and the world. President Trump along with a number of senators, officials, congressmen and secretaries will also be at the event. The Howdy Modi mega show will also feature a number of cultural performances that will highlight the Indian-American connection.
