Journalist, Covering For Pan-Arab TV, Killed In Israeli Airstrike In Southern Lebanon
Israel on Monday had launched a massive offensive against Hezbollah targeting its ammunition and logistics back ups in southern and eastern Lebanon.
Burj Rahal: A 22-year-old journalist working for a pan-Arab television network was killed in the Israeli airstrike that hit southern and eastern Lebanon on Monday. The deceased Hadi Al-Sayyed was working for Al-Mayadeen network when a missile hit the region while he was present in his house. This is the third journalist belonging to this network killed in the airstrike. Israel has launched a massive offensive against Hezbollah targeting its ammunition and logistics facilities in Lebanon.
The Arab-based media network said that Hadi Al-Sayyed was wounded on Monday and succumbed to injuries on Tuesday.
The victim was working for Al-Mayadeen's digital platform and was at his house in the town of Burj Rahhal near the southern city of Tyre when the missile hit his house.
Last November, Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent Farah Omar and cameraman Rabih Al-Maamari were killed in an Israeli strike while covering southern Lebanon.

Over 500 people have been killed in one of the worst attacks after Israel targeted over 300 sites in southern and eastern Lebanon. IDF, on Monday, said that it was targeting Hezbollah's logistics and ammunition facilities and asked the civilians to vacate the Beqaa valley in two-hours notice. Post Israel's warning, thousands of civilians were seen leaving the city amid huge traffic jams fearing more strikes by Israel.
