Saudi king receives first shot of virus vaccine

The Saudi Ministry of Health announced in a statement on Friday that 97 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country, bringing the total number to 363,582.

Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz received his first shot of the coronavirus vaccine on Friday, in line with the country's inoculation program.

Footage from the country's state-run Saudi Press Agency shows King Salman receiving his first dose while in the city of Neom - Saudi Arabia launched its vaccination campaign in December after receiving their first shipment of doses.
