US Teen Had Apologised To His Mother Before Going on Shooting Spree

The 14-year-old student who fatally shot two students and two teachers at his Georgia school had sent an apology text to his mother before the shooting, according to his grandfather, Charles Polhamus, according to english daily.

The text led to urgent calls from the mother to the school in a desperate attempt to prevent the tragedy. Polhamus recounted that his daughter, Marcee Gray, was at his home when she received the text from her son, Colt Gray, which simply said, "I'm sorry, mom."

On September 4, Colt used a semi-automatic rifle to carry out an attack at Apalachee High School, resulting in the deaths of two teachers and two 14-year-old students. Authorities allege that Collin knowingly permitted his son to access firearms in their home prior to the shooting.
