Pertaining to the tensions between India and Pakistan, the latter has made yet another bizarre claim stating that Pakistan Air Force captured an 'Israeli pilot' after downing his aircraft in an air-confrontation with India.

Former diplomat and defence analyst Zafar Hilaly in an interview to a Pakistani media channel said that Pakistan released Wing Commander Abhinandan on the request of (bade log) 'significant powers', evidently negating their claims of his release being a 'gesture of peace' and that they have downed an Israeli pilot flying an Indian Aircraft

The ludicrous claims from 'Israeli pilot' further extended to the Pakistani Ambassador saying that the de-escalation occurred because of the intervention of United States on appeal of Israel, because 'Israel is a part of United States'

When it comes to making absurd claims, Pakistan is not a debutant. Following the military confrontation between India and Pakistan on February 27, Pakistan's Major General Asif Ghafoor made the claims of capturing two pilots, one among which was Wing Commander Abhinandan. However, it was later retracted and Pakistan confirmed that only one IAF officer was captured, only to realise later that Pakistan had captured their own Air Force chief assuming him to be Indian, who succumbed to his injuries.

The release of Wing Commander Abhinandan was followed by India's unprecedented pressure and a strong global community backing in India's counter-terrorism endevours, despite Pakistan's initial effort to bring India to the negotiation table. However Pakistan PM Imran Khan cited his release to be a 'gesture of peace'

During this entire episode, the United States and Israel have stood by India in solidarity in a fight againt terror, shielded by Pakistan.

On Tuesday, the NSA of United States John Bolton told that the country is working to ensure that Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar is listed as a prescribed global terrorist in the United Nations, who currently is under alleged medical care in an Army hospital in Pakistan's Rawalpindi.

Furthermore, the USA reiterated its backing to India over the need to clamp down on terror camps in Pakistan. Speaking to Ajit Doval, John Bolton said that India was entitled to the right to self-defence.
