Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has rubbished former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi's tweet and opinion where he had insulted India and backed Pak-based terror, terming terrorists 'innocent'

Gambhir has written:

Media called me for reaction on @SAfridiOfficial tweet on OUR Kashmir & @UN. What’s there to react, guys? Afridi is only looking for @UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN”. Media can relax, @SAfridiOfficial is as usual celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!!!

Earlier, Afridi had written:

Afridi's tweet mirrored one by his forerunner as Pak captain Imran Khan from Monday. The PTI leader, who is campaigning for the upcoming Pak general elections had written:

"Strongly condemn the brutality of Indian forces against innocent Kashmiris and the killing of unarmed civilians in IOK. The people of Pak stand with the Kashmiris democratic struggle for self determination. The UNSC must act against Indian aggression in IOK."

Following the neutralisation of 13 terrorists by Indian security forces in three encounters in the Valley which dealt a massive blow to the Lashkar-e-Toiba and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, the Pakistani government had issued a number of statements attempting to portray the terrorists as 'innocents'.

The truth of the matter, however, was that the terrorists killed were far from innocent. The counter-terror operations are said to have dealt a huge blow to the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and the Lashkar-e-Taiba and two of the terrorists had been involved in the cowardly killing of Lt Ummer Fayaz in May 2017. Recoveries comprising AK-47 and AK-74 rifles were made from the slain terrorists.
