Independence Day 2019: India's High Commission in Pakistan celebrates proudly, hoists Tricolour on Pak soil

On the occasion of 73rd Independence Day on Thursday, the Indian community in Pakistan hoisted the National Flag at the High Commission of India in the neighbouring country.

On the occasion of 73rd Independence Day on Thursday, the Indian community in Pakistan hoisted the National Flag at the High Commission of India in the neighbouring country. The Indian community in Pakistan celebrated the joyous occasion of the Independence Day with great enthusiasm in the neighbouring country, with Chargé d'affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia unfurling the National Flag. He also read out the message by President Ram Nath Kovind on the occasion of Independence Day.

Earlier in the day, the High Commission of India in Pakistan took to Twitter and extended best wishes on the 73rd Independence Day in Islamabad. 

The High Commission of India in Pakistan illuminated in Tricolous at the dawn of August 15 ahead of the celebrations of the 73rd Independence Day.

The Ministry of External Affairs took to Twitter and extended warm wishes for Indian at home and abroad on the occasion, by rededicating itself to the spirit of services and sacrifice for the nation. 

PM Modi's message on Independence Day

Taking to Twitter in the day, PM Modi congratulated fellow Indians on the occasion of completion of 72 years of freedom from British Raj.
