Pakistan cop suspended after dance video on Govinda's song 'Kisi Disco mai jaye' goes viral

A Pakistani police officer was suspended on Monday after a video of him went viral on social media, prompting officials to take notice and launch an inquiry into the incident.

A Pakistani police officer was suspended on Monday after a video of him went viral on social media, prompting officials to take notice and launch an inquiry into the incident. Inspector Arshad who was stationed at Kalyana police station in Pakpattan came under fire after two videos of him went viral.

In a first video, it was being speculated that the same inspector is seen dancing with an unidentified woman on a famous Bollywood track 'Kisi Disco Mein Jaayen...' that originally features Govinda and Raveena Tandon.

In the second video, the police officer can be seen depicting a delivering a dialogue from Anil Kapoor's 2013 film Shootout at Wadala. 

"Do waqt ki roti kamata hoon, panch waqt ki namaaz padhta hoon ... isse zyada meri zaroorat nahi, aur mujhe khareedne ki teri aukaad nahi,” he says in the video. 

After the videos went viral, District Police Officer Pakpattan Maria Mehmood suspended the officer and ordered that an inquiry has been launched on an official level. According to a local website, the video was saved in Inspector Arshad’s cellphone, however, his nephew uploaded the video on the internet from where it became viral.
