Reflecting their muddled thinking, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Saturday said that Pakistan is ready for "conditional dialogue" with India.

Islamabad's reiteration for dialogue with New Delhi comes concurrent to Pakistan PM Imran Khan's desperate attempts to peddle a narrative against India on a global platform, instigate fake news and drive Pakistani people to 'stand up' against India, literally.

Pakistan's appeal comes after External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar repeating India's stand that talks and terror don't go hand in hand.

Pakistan narratives

Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed claimed that the US President is "deceiving" both India and Pakistan on the Kashmir issue, putting the blame on Donald Trump's shoulder. Talking to reporters in Rawalpindi, the Pakistan Minister also claimed that the Kashmir issue, which has been a conflict between India and Pakistan for over seven decades, would be resolved during the tenures of Pakistan PM Imran Khan and Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

In his address on Monday, Imran Khan asked the people of Pakistan to stand up for Kashmir, literally, every Friday between 12 to 12:30. He said, "We should give Kashmiri people a message that we are with them. We will do an event every week, in schools, universities, and offices. This Friday, from 12 to 12:30, you must stop work and stand with the public to tell the people that we are with Kashmiri people. Those who are at home should also get on the streets so that people should know we are standing with them."

Pakistan President Arif Alvi  openly called on its citizens to post videos on Kashmir, calling it their 'biggest weapon.' The call for social media war against India over the Kashmir integration came while he was addressing a flag hoisting ceremony at Islamabad on August 14.

Article 370

On August 5, PM Modi led government abrogated Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir stripping the state off the special status and bifurcated the state into two union territories of- Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Ever since, Imran Khan has been attempting to make Kashmir an international issue, fearmongering over New Delhi's treatment of Kashmiris following the communication lockdown, and alleging a probable attempt of "ethnic cleansing." However, in response, the international community has not only looked Pakistan's foul cries over Kashmir but also stated that it is a bilateral issue between New Delhi and Islamabad.
