Firing has been reported near the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan.

A suspect is believed to be with hand grenades and pistol, who was firing outside the embassy. A heavy contingent of Law enforcement and security has been deployed in the area.

Two people are known to be injured by the firing and the Pakistani DIG Javed Odho has confirmed the death of two policemen in the attack.  When the guards stopped three men from entering the embassy, they opened fire on them. 
 

Security has been beefed up around the city and emergency has been declared at Jinnah hospital

Reports suggest that consulate officials are safe in the Karachi attacks
