Football player, Sam Kerr has scored two goals for the Australian team in a 2-1 friendly win on November 9 over Chile that attracted a record crowd of 20,029.

Australian association football player, Sam Kerr has scored two goals for the Australian team in a 2-1 friendly win on November 9 over Chile. The Football Federation of Australia said that the match attracted a record crowd of 20,029 for a women’s soccer match in Australia. The match was organized at a new stadium in western Sydney, which broke the previous mark of 16,829 for an Australia-Brazil game at Newcastle, north of Sydney, on November 19, 2017. Kerr scored in each half and has scored 40 goals in her past 40 games for Perth in the W-League, Chicago in the NWSL, and Australia. She has scored 38 goals in total for Australia.

A record Women’s Super League crowd of 31,213 watched the Manchester derby between City and United in September and more than 24000 have since attended the games at Chelsea and West Ham all played in stadiums usually used by the men’s teams.
