The sheep with reportedly the world's "heaviest" fleece, named Chris, passed away in Australia, its caretakers have announced. Chris became famous for its heavy fleece which led to it getting worldwide attention in 2015. The sheep which lived on a farm refused to be caught by its owners for regular fleecing and had reportedly collected fleece which was noted by its owners as something a sheep would have collected if it did not shed for a period of six years. It even made World record for the amount of wool that was collected after the excess wool was fleeced; notably, the fleeced hair weighed at about 41.6 kg.
