The story behind the costume

Reports say that Jake Arsenault wasn't sure what to wear for his class photos. His mother Kari had jokingly advised the 9-year-old to don an old Halloween costume of a hot dog. Initially, Jake was not convinced on his mom's idea as per Jake's father Craig Arsenault. However, Arsenault then encouraged his son to wear the costume. Furthermore, he promised Jake $10 if he wore the costume to Biddeford Intermediate School photo day about three weeks ago.

Earlier this week, Jake's school ID came and was with a hot dog costume photo. Arsenault said that he later took the photo of the card and posted the photo on his Facebook page. The title of the post said that the school let him do it and father could not be happier. Jake meanwhile, has been enjoying the attention has been charmed by the online interest for his photo.
