An armed robber sneaked into a bar in St. Louis, USA, on August 28 and held up the entire establishment at gunpoint. The CCTV footage of the incident at Behrmann's Tavern displays customers running amock in fear, some trying to hide under the table and some fell down to the ground out of fear, except one man, who can be seen sitting on the chair, fearless and confident. According to the reports, the man was identified as Tony Tovar who was present at the bar when the gunman entered. He remained calm and composed the whole time, unlike the other customers. The robber who was later identified as, Kevin Moore, tried to snatch away his phone but Tony can be seen ignoring him and resisted obeying any of his orders.
Tovar reported to a foreign media group later and stated 'I was really tired of these sort of things and people in South City thinking they can control people with some sort of aggression, arms and ammunitions or attitudes.' The video has since gone viral on social media, garnering over 914,000 views and 3000 shares, at the time of this publication. His actions towards the armed robber has been appreciated by netizens, with users commenting on Tovar's nonchalance and casual indifference while facing a dangerous moment.
Tony Tovar said that he wasn't at all concerned about what's happening and knew that the robber won't harm anyone as he just wanted some "drug money". No injuries were reported from the incident and although Kevin managed to flee from Behrmann's Tavern with some cell phones, cash and a handful of wallets, the 37-year-old man was arrested later on Tuesday and has now been persecuted and charged with armed criminal action and robbery.
