Recently a nine-year-old girl from Missouri went viral on social media for innovating the chapstick. She turned the chapstick into 'cheese chapstick'. The girl is widely appreciated for her resourcefulness. People are praising her intelligence and approach at such a young age. 

The Cheese Chapstick hack

It was on Tuesday night, when the young girl’s mother, Valerie Schremp Hahn, shared a photograph of the chapstick her little girl had brought home from school that day. Clearly, the fourth-grader was eager and needed a simple, smooth approach to eat during her classes. Therefore she decided to purge out her chapstick tube and refilled it with cheddar.

Valerie Schremp Hahn said in her tweet that her 9-year-old daughter took an oil lip balm tube and filled it with cheese so that she can slip in some food during her classes. The girl saw a compilation of back-to-school pranks on Youtube, where the person emptied a glue stick and filled it with cheese slice. This is what struck her the idea of Cheese Chapstick.

She told the media that she was bored sitting at home and subsequently happen to watch the video. She decided to take some of her dad’s cheese and stuffed in the chapstick. The girl properly washed the chapstick with soap and water and then did the deed. She said, "I was just looking on YouTube because I was bored and I found this video and I decided to do it, I just took some of my dad’s cheese, sliced it up, and put it in the chapstick container." 

The tweet went viral on the internet. It received 64K likes and more than 1.5K comments. People were amazed at her talent. Some even called her a genius.

It's snack time

She gave details of her techniques to media, clarifying that she just washed the chapstick out with cleanser before filling it with cheese slices her family had purchased from  Aldi. The fourth-grader included that she attempted the hack again on Wednesday, this time bringing two of her "cheese chapsticks" as a snack to have during standardized testing. She said that one could lick the chapstick and no one will know. The web was overwhelmingly positive in its response to the thought, appreciating the young girl‘s useful and hilarious skills.
