North Dakota COVID-19 cases up by 14 , half in Cass County

The number of North Dakota coronavirus cases increased by 14 in the last day to a total statewide of 251, state health officials said Wednesday.

The number of North Dakota coronavirus cases increased by 14 in the last day to a total statewide of 251, state health officials said Wednesday.

No additional deaths were reported. Four people in North Dakota have died of the disease caused by the coronavirus.

Half of the new cases were reported in Cass County, the state’s most populated county.

The virus is now present in 28 of North Dakota’s 53 counties.

Health officials said 16 people are hospitalized. Ninety-eight people have recovered after testing positive.

Health officials said more than 8,600 people have been tested for the coronavirus in North Dakota.
