South Korean markets are being disinfected in an attempt to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and reduce public fears.

But merchants say that not enough is being done and the work should be carried out more frequently to reassure customers.

Public anxiety is growing in South Korea as the number of cases of coronavirus increases daily.

The government has confirmed a total of 1,595 infected patients as of Thursday morning, including 24 that fully recovered and 13 that died.
