'Pakistan, Stop Supporting Terrorism' Read Placards Of Indian Community Protesting Outside Pakistan Consulate In Sydney

  • Thousands of Indians assembled outside the Pakistan embassy chanting the slogans of 'Pakistan Murdabad', 'Vandemataram' and 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'

The Indian community in Australia held a march from Sydney town hall to the Pakistan Consulate in the city protesting against the Pulwama attack perpetrated by Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammad terror outfit that martyred 40 jawans. 

Thousands of Indians assembled outside the Pakistan embassy chanting the slogans of 'Pakistan Murdabad', 'Vandemataram' and 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', marched in numbers, waved the tricolour flag and holding placards that read 'Pakistan stop supporting terrorism' and 'Pakistan stop funding terror attacks.' 

Indian communities across the world from London to the United States have been holding protest marches denouncing the role of Pakistan in the cowardly act. 

In the United States, peaceful protests will be held outside the Pakistani as well as Chinese diplomatic missions alleging that China provides tactic support to Pakistan which uses non-State actors against its neighbours.

A candlelight protest will be held outside the Pakistan Consulate in Chicago after which the protesters will march to the Chinese consulate on Thursday, February 21, the organisers have said. 

"It is time that the United States and rest of the world speak in unison against Pakistani establishment's continued support to terrorists in recruiting, training, arming, finance and providing safe haven," eminent Indian American Dr Bharat Barai said in a statement. 

Along with the non-resident Indians, the global community has stood in solidarity with India against terrorism enacted by Pakistan-backed terrorists. 

Along with the Indian-Australian community, Australia High Commissioner to India extended their condolences and support to India. 

She said, "Deeply shocked by today’s terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Our thoughts are with the families of those killed and injured. Australia stands in solidarity with India in condemning all forms of terrorism." 

Apart from that, around 50 countries have extended their support to India including- Russia, US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, France and more.
