Poland's Foreign Minister on Tuesday outlined his country's priorities, as he addressed the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.

Jacek Czaputowicz said Poland's main priority was "the protection of freedom of religion or belief" as it was crucial to increase tolerance in the world.

Czaputowicz also called for an immediate ceasfire in Syria and Yemen, given the suffering of the people in those countries.

He also voiced concerns over the human rights situation in Crimea, "in particular with the repressive policy of the occupational Russian administration and persecution of indigenous Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians."
