Russia opens heating points as temperatures drop

The Russian Emergency Ministry has opened heating points near Russian highways, due to the dropping temperatures in most regions.

In the Ulyanovsk region, twenty-seven heating points have been installed near highways, and nine points are deployed now in the Leningrad region.

According to the first deputy head of the Russian Emergency Ministry in the Leningrad region, people can warm up, drink a cup of tea and get necessary help in the heating points.

In Ulyanovsk region, the average temperature was about -30 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, while the temperature in the Leningrad region was about -15 degrees Celsius.
