Russia to return three seized Ukrainian military ships after a year

The Ukrainian officials informed that the Russian authorities have decided to return three Ukrainian military ships which are presently anchored at Crimean port

The Ukrainian officials informed that the Russian authorities have decided to return three Ukrainian military ships which are presently anchored at the Crimean port. The Russian navy seized the vessels a year ago during the clashes in the Kerch Strait.

Russia to return the seized Ukrainian vessels 

According to the reports of the International agency, the Russian boats were captured seizing the Ukrainian vessels from the strait which separates Crimean from Russia. The FSB security officials informed that the vessels will be handed over on November 18 to the Ukraine officials. The move comes in accordance with the agreement between Russia and Ukraine. Russia ahead of the summit seeks to resolve its long-drawn conflicts with Ukraine.

International news channel released the footage 

An international news channel also released the footage of the Ukraine boats being towed by the Russian coastguards from the strait. The strait was constructed by the Moscow to link the Crimean port with Russia. Along with the three vessels, there were twenty-four Ukrainian sailors who were held as prisoners by Russia and were later returned to their mainland as part of an exchange.

Russia wishes to resolve conflicts with Ukraine

Russian wants to resolve the conflict ahead of the summit announced on Friday by the French government scheduled to be held on December 9. The countries participating in the summit will be France, Russia, Ukraine and Germany. The countries will take the opportunity to resolve the pending conflicts of Eastern Ukraine.

Russian helicopter base in Syria

The Russian military has started setting up a helicopter base at a civilian airport in north-eastern Syria. The Russian Defense Ministry's channel broadcast the clip of helicopter gunships arriving in Syria on November 14. With more two follow, the new Russian base is protected by Pantsir surface-to-air missile systems and has deployed three helicopters, which reportedly includes two Mi-35 gunships and one Mi-8 military transport helicopter. The footage on the channel also showed members of the Russian military protecting the new base along with armored vehicles as well as ground support crews.
