South Korea on Wednesday announced it planned to evacuate around 380 Afghan people from Kabul. Many of them will be Afghans who supported South Korea's official activities in Afghanistan, as well as their family members.
Second Vice-Foreign Minister Choi Jongmoon said it was the government's "moral responsibility" to make evacuate these Afghans. He added that upon arrival, the evacuees would be taken to a government-owned facility, where they would begin their coronavirus quarantine.
