Update at 7:34 PM: Three dead in shooting in Utrecht, Netherlands: Mayor 


Update at 7:25 PM:  The Dutch Police have identified the suspect of Utrecht shooting. They are on a look-out for Gökman Tanis, a 37-year-old Turkish-born man.


Update at 5:06 PM: One person has died and the local media reported that the suspected gunman has escaped and fled the scene.


Update at 5:01 PM: Police have asked schools in Utrecht to shut down and keep kids inside amid shooting.


Several people were wounded in a shooting on a tram, in Utrecht, a Dutch city, police said. 

The official twitter account of Utrecht Police said that several people have been injured. Assistance has started, and there is a large deposit around the scene for relief.

The Dutch police are investigating the shooting and a possible terrorist motif is part of the investigation. An anti-terrorism unit and emergency services are reported to be at the scene around the 24 Oktoberplein junction.
