Greece's health ministry on Sunday announced that all sports events will take place without spectators for the next two weeks to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The ministry's spokesperson, Sotiris Tsiodras, told reporters that old people's recreation and support centres will also close for four weeks.
He said no school trips will be allowed within Greece.
Tsiodras confirmed that there are seven new cases of coronavirus in the country, six of which are linked to previous cases.
Greece has a total of 73 virus cases. 47 of them were among a group travelling to Israel and Egypt.
The government is expected to announce economic measures related to the outbreak on Monday.
