Turkmen FM thanks Russia for support on pandemic

Turkmenistan has formally thanked Russia for its assistance in providing PCR tests during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Russian foreign minister hosted the Turkmen foreign minister and the son of the Turkmen President Gurbanguly in Moscow on Thursday.

Sergey Lavrov in turn thanked the country for providing aid to the Astrakhan region, close to Russia's border with Kazakhstan.

He also noted the two country's united approach in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
