Two dead after gliders collide in Germany

Two gliders crashed after an apparent mid-air collision on Saturday afternoon in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.Two bodies were found by emergency services at the crash site, with police reporting them as both gliders' pilots.

Witnesses contacted the police to provide information about the crash; the German Air Traffic Control and the Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation were notified. The causes of the accident are not yet clear but the investigations continue.
