Jacob Pina, a 20-year-old student from the United States has shot to fame after posting videos on Tiktok. Oddly enough, however, what has taken the internet by storm is not his singing or acting skills but his 5-inch long thumb! Originally from Westport, Massachusetts Jacob has become an internet sensation overnight due to his unusually long thumb towering above the rest of his fingers which he deliberately features in his videos, where he introduces his thumb with quirky and witty cameos.

Jacob's odd, funny, long thumb

In one of his videos, Jacob told the audience about his thumb asserting that he is never going to lose a single thumb battle. “Hey guys, so this is my thumb. Yes it is very long, yes it is real and yes, I have never lost a thumb battle,” jokes Jacob, before using his thumb to push a water bottle off a table. His video has since clocked in over 2.1 million 'likes' 37,400 comments at the time of publishing. 

Jacob Pina has over 1,50,000 followers on Tiktok. You can find numerous videos where you see his mighty thumb. In one of such videos, Pina is tapping his dog on the head with the gigantic thumb. Yes! You're definitely going to go bonkers!

Speaking on how he felt about being different, Jacob said to a UK publication that he has no idea why his thumb is disproportionately longer than the rest of his fingers. Pina also added that he doesn't care about trolls and that he accepts his physical features. He shared instances when people would compare the length of their own thumb with his and freak out. In the interview, his thumb was actually measured and the length stood a striking 4 and a half inches! That's perhaps the longest we have heard of.

Since then there has been a lot of comments and questions about his thumb, but Jacob responded to them sportively and posted a video of his entire palm. In the post he mentions, "Here's the rest of my hand."

Jacob's other interests

Besides having a long thumb, Jacob said that he is really good with Xbox, and enjoys besting people at Rainbow Six Siege, an online tactical shooter video game. In the interview to a UK-based publication, Pina said that he made it to the top ten in the world for 10 seasons straight.
