A third flight from China carrying medical supplies including a delegation of medical specialists and a shipment of humanitarian aid arrived in Venezuela on Monday as part of the "air bridge" cooperation agreement between the two countries.

The agreement between President Nicolas Maduro's government and China was signed on March 28.

Tons of mechanical fans, diagnostic tests and mask were received by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza and the Chinese ambassador Li Baorong in the capital Caracas.

Venezuela has 129 confirmed cases of the coronavirus with three deaths so far.

For most people, the new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks.

For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia and death.
