The video of the grand show started with a visual of the countdown as the clock was 10 seconds away from hitting 12 am on the building. What followed was a stunning display of lights and fireworks to mark the New Year. The fireworks were so well-designed and well-planned that you really feel as if the building itself is emitting fireworks. One of the best moments is at the end when almost three-fourth of the building gets fully covered with the fireworks and feels almost like it’s exploding.

Not just Burj Khalifa, even the trees surrounding it and fountain fireworks added to the majesty of the entire show. Some of the long-range shots also gave a glimpse of how the entire city was beautifully decked up on the occasion.

The display of lights on the tower deserves a special mention, particularly the visual of a rocket launch towards the end stood out.
